Choose Who You Want to be in Charge

Your family and friends want to take part in the process of fulfilling your

final wishes they only need instructions on what they need to do

Make sure someone, preferably your executor, has a copy of the will. The named executor and the will do not go into effect until approved by Probate Court which most often does not happen prior to funeral services or cremation services. Once approved by Probate Judge, the estate will be opened.

Give a family member or chosen friend a list of important account information that will need to be contacted and handled following your death.

Make sure someone knows your final wishes for your desired service.

Designate someone to be your power of attorney (the power of attorney) " POA " for the person you're representing becomes void at the time of their death).

Have someone prepared to cancel credit card, basic utility services and subscriptions.

Choose To Pay In Advance

Making decisions about your funeral service in advance can

benefit you and your survivors financially.

If possible, pay for all expenses in advance, freeing your family from that financial burden.

Paying for your services in advance "pre-arranging" gives you an option to have services, facilities and transportation, guaranteed at the prices on day of contract.

Cash advance items (third party) such as death certificates, burial or cremation permits, board of health processing fee, motorcycle escort, and Opening & Closing for cemetery other misc. items CANNOT be guaranteed.

For your best interest we always encourage your to pay the current charges of cash advance items, at time of contract to ease the burden off your survivors having to pay more out of pocket at time of death. In doing this, there is just the difference owed for increases.
