You can also choose to have a graveside service held at your loved one’s final resting place. Information for services before or after cremation can be listed in our obituaries. Cremation services give you options for your loved one’s remains, such as keeping an urn at home, burying the urn or placing it in a columbarium, or scattering the cremated remains.
The US Department of Veterans Affairs offers veterans death benefits, which help cover the costs of services, transportation, and burial for those veterans who qualify.
