William Nichols

William C. Nichols, age 96, of Columbus, passed away on August 15, 2013. U.S. Army Veteran WWII, served in South Pacific. Retired operating engineer with Local 18 District 3. He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Norma; parents; 1 great-granddaughter.; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by 3 daughters, Carolyn (Ed) Harrison of Columbus, Lois (Sonny) Starcher of Canal Winchester, and Janet (Leroy) Call of Ashville; son, William (Kathryn) Nichols Jr., of Columbus; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernie L. Nichols and Bobby M. Nichols; sisters, Juanita Dillon and Arlie Ramey; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation Monday August 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street, Pastor P.J. Rings officiating. Interment to follow at Beckett Cemetery, Commercial Point, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Mount Carmel Hospice.
