William R. Butsch, age 71, of Groveport, passed away at his home on September 16, 2018. Retired Franklin County Deputy Sheriff from 1981-2001. Member of Lithopolis Lodge No. 169 F&AM. USMC Vietnam veteran.
Preceded in death by parents, William P. Butsch and Ella Butsch Viet; sister, Sharon Hurth; uncles, Robert, Otto and Herbert Butsch and aunt, Laura Mosel.
Survived by wife of 42 years, Suzanne Butsch; daughters, Yvonne (Kevin) Grubb and Melissa Butsch; grandchildren, Kody Luster, Andrew Grubb, Nathan Grubb, and Alex Whitlock; siblings, Marge (Dave), Walt (Rita), Susan (Rob), Randy (Suzanne), and Karen (Dan); many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. (Masonic Service Friday 7 p.m.) at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Saturday 10 a.m., Pastor Bill Weaver officiating. Interment to follow with military honors at Obetz Cemetery.
