Wendell Collier

Wendell C. Collier, age 89, of Columbus, passed away on March 29, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Louvennia Collier; brother, Kenneth Collier, sisters, Alberta Collier, Bertha Adams, Roberta Jividen, and grandsons, Billy Collier Jr. and Korey Collier. Survived by wife of 69 years, Dixie Collier; daughter, Carol (Lloyd) England; sons, Wendell Collier Jr. Billy (Christina) Collier, Richard (Sandra) Collier, and Edward Collier; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Wendell served the City of Columbus for 30 years, 1957-1987. Member of Ole Time Free Will Baptist Church. He loved his family and his church family. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 4, 2023, beginning at 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43207, with Pastor Don Estep officiating. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
