Theodore Bender

Theodore D. "Bear" Bender, age 73, of Westerville went Home on May 2, 2013. Theodore was President and/or Chairperson of the National Bass Assoc. of the Deaf, Columbus Assoc. of the Deaf, Ohio Deaf Anglers, GLDBA. He was also a player and coach for the CAD softball team. He is preceded in death by wife Regina and his parents, Earl and Shirley Bender. Survived by son, Robert Bender; daughter Lisa (James) Baldridge; step-children, Jennifer Biggins and Matt Knouff; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice Conley and Bruce Bender; many nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Bear has gone to his den in Heaven and tomorrow will be at his fishing hole. R.I.P. we love you and will miss you forever.
