Teresa Musick

Teresa Musick, age 88, retired RN, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati. She held various nursing position over 40 years. She was born in Ware, Ma. to her parents Thomas O, and Kathleen Hanlon. She is preceded in death by her son Egbert S. Musick, Jr., a Vietnam Veteran from Los Angeles CA. She was the sole survivor of two brothers, Samuel O. and Thomas W. Hanlon as well as her two sisters, Mrs. Edna Graham and Mrs. Catherine Seavey all originally from Fryeburg, Me. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Claire Skinner of Westerville, OH, her grandson Michael (Beth) Skinner and her two great-granddaughters, Mrs. Brittany (Kevin) Croswell, and Ms. Jordan Skinner of Batavia, Ohio as well as many nieces and nephews. Shortly after WWII, Teresa lived in Frankfort, Germany for three years with her family. Upon returning to the States, she was involved with and held various positions in many nursing and political organizations. She attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio where she enjoyed Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg's adult Sunday school class and weekly Bible study group. Teresa spent much of her retirement years researching her Irish-American genealogy for the DAR with her nephew, Wendell Graham of Windham, ME. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and collecting antiques. Teresa valued her years of friendship with Mrs. Lynnette Legg of Bexley, OH and her former employer, Paul Leithart, MD. The family wishes to thank the staff of Arden Court of Anderson located in Cincinnati, where Teresa resided for the past 11 months. Family will receive friends Monday beginning at 10 a.m. with service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, Ohio.
