Steven Pressler

Steven Robert Pressler was born to Robert and Elizabeth Pressler on October 21, 1953. Steve died at his residence on July 7, 2023, where he wanted to be. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert and sister, Patricia. He met his wife Teresa in kindergarten. They were childhood friends who married on November 27, 1976. Steve graduated from Wehrle High School in 1973. He worked at JC Penney Westland Mall and Sears. Steve enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. He loved the Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. He was active in community service volunteering with the food pantry and veteran’s program. He believed in helping those in need. He even worked fish fries even though he hated fish! Steve was active in the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; mother, Elizabeth; brother, William (Gina) Pressler; sisters, Victoria (Chuck) and Judy (Dave); brother-in-law, Dave. Steve is also survived by in-laws who enjoyed sharing their lives with him, John (Sue), Terry (Mary), Carol (Terry); numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, We have the best friends anyone could ask for, Ray, Justine, Dustan, Bob and Diane; special caregiver Shaquita. Steve loved his 3 cats. Special thank you is extended to Dr. David DeWalt and staff for constant care and loving support.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 3 – 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43207, where service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., Deacon Mark O’Loughlin officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
