Ruby Mayfield

Ruby Ball McCormick Mayfield, age 93, a loving mother and grandmother was called Home on September 29, 2013. Ruby attended Hilock Fellowship Church and truly believed in God's eternal love. While many may not know this, Ruby had many hidden talents which included; vegetable and flower gardening, cooking, carpentry, and a passion for The Ohio State University football and most of all loyalty. Preceded in death by husbands, Woodrow Ball and James McCormick; son, Gary Ball and parents, Ruben and Monnie Moore. Survived by husband, William Mayfield; daughters, Clarice (Paul) Hewitt and Deb (Robert) Young; grandson, Josh Young; sister, Evelyn Cordle; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday Oct. 3, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio, where service will be held Friday 9:30 a.m. Rev. Jerry Sargent officiating.
