Rose Taylor

Rosemary “Rose” Taylor, age 71, of Lockbourne, OH. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 2nd, 2024 and is now reunited with her baby boy, Erick. She was born on December 16th, 1952 to her loving parents Jimmie and Sally Adams in Columbus, OH. Rose was a part of the Marion Franklin Graduating Class of 1971, and she was a proud Union Sheet Metal Worker for Local #24. Rose hung up her sheet metal shears and moved on to work for the State of Ohio until her retirement.

Rose had a sense of confidence and boldness unlike anyone you would ever meet; she was hardworking and dedicated to her family, friends, and loved ones alike. As a mother, she was strong, tireless, ambitious, and always striving to provide the absolute best for her boys. Rose was a talented artist and home decorator. She had never seen a yard sale for which she could not stop at. Rose left an impact on many lives, possessed a heart of gold, and was always willing to help anyone in need, and there was never a stranger Rose could not befriend. Her charismatic, adventurous, lovable, down-to-earth personality made her memorable to everyone she encountered. 

Rose is preceded in death by her son, Erick Taylor; parents, Jimmie and Sally Adams. She is survived by her sons, Scotty (Barbara) Taylor and Zachary (Stacy) Taylor; granddaughters, McKenzie, McKayla, Olivia, and Eva; special niece, Erica; sister, Leisa (Chris) Bush; former husband, Fred (Butch) Taylor. Leaving behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.

Family will receive friends, Thursday, February 8th, 2024, from 3 – 7 pm at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High St., Columbus, OH. 43207 where service will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Timothy Lee officiating.
