Rosalie Marcellina Martin passed away peacefully on April 7, 2015, following complications from open heart surgery. Those who knew her will miss her sparkling eyes, beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She was born on June 2, 1948, in Boulder, Colorado and grew up in Denver. Rosalie graduated from The Ohio State University and retired from United Art and Education. As an artist and art lover she was always willing to share her talent with others, especially her grandchildren. She was a deacon at Trinity United Church of Christ, and was active in the children's ministry. Rosalie loved painting, movies (especially animated films), music, laughter and children. She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Mary Padilla. Rosalie is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Don; sons Brett (Amanda) and Ryan (Tracy); grandchildren Mason, Camden, Zach and Annelyn; sisters Helen Casillas, Cathy and Marion Padilla, and nephew Michael Casillas, all of Denver; in-laws John and Bertha Martin. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 23 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 1180 Shanley Drive, Columbus, OH 43224, Pastor Norman Moxley officiating.
