Ronald W. Donaldson, age 71, of Columbus, passed away on November 12, 2010 at his home in German Village surrounded by his family. Retired after 52 years of service as an Engineer with C&O/CSX Railroad. 1957 graduate of Columbus South High School. Ron was an ardent outdoorsman and sportsman. He traveled extensively throughout his life enjoying his hunting and fishing adventures and was a member of several sportsman clubs. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Donaldson; sister and brother-in-law, Gwelda and Faber Bolen. Survived by wife of 50 years Jeanine (Collmar) Donaldson; daughters, Tammy Donaldson and her fiancé, Skip Rings of Pickerington, Paula Dick of Columbus and her former husband Michael Dick of Ashville, and Rhonda Cox and her husband Dennis of Columbus; grandchildren Aaron Staten, Ronald Dick, Zachary Burcham, Taylor Cox and Jackson Cox; great-grandson Carter Burcham; many other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Tuesday 10:30 a.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating.
