Robert Lee Webb, lovingly known as "Pops" passed away suddenly Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center. He was born April 8, 1925 i Martin County, KY. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during World War II. He also worked for and retired from the City of Columbus after years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his brother Elmer Webb and son-in-law Duane Goodridge. Survived by his wife of over 60 years, Rebecca Webb; 4 children Linda Goodridge, Greg (Kristine) Webb, Jack Webb (Jan Fischer), Anna (Anthony) Anderson; grandchildren Kim, Jim, Nick, Becca, AJ, Max, Gabe and Jace; great-grandchildren Savannah, Hunter, Hannah, and Madison; 2 loving sisters Ruth Crum and Christine Perkins; many nieces, nephews, and a very special family friend, Dixie Mace. Pops was a good, kind, man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He had a natural talent for mechanics and was always willing to lend a hand to fix things when they went wrong. Although he was a quiet man by nature, he came out of his shell around those that he loved, telling us his special brand of jokes and smiling in his sweet way. He will be missed by all.
