Robert Walker

Retired Air Force Tech Sergeant Robert Louis Walker, age 80 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, June 25 , 2017. He served his country 23 years in the US Air Force. He retired from Nationwide Auto parts after 17 years of service. He was an active member of Southside Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 39 years. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Selma Walker, his sister Pauline Walker, his brother Wilburn Walker, his son Ricky Allen Walker and his grandson Jonathan Kerr. He is survived by his wife Mary Alice Foster Walker, his children Shelia (Bruce) Kerr of Dallas Ga, Marvin Walker of Beavercreek, Oh, and Susan Bugh of Salem, IN., and his grandchildren William Kerr, David Kerr, Kaitlin Bugh and Isaiah Bugh. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 6-7 p.m. with a Home Going praise service beginning at 7 p.m. Southside Baptist Church at 1621 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207, Additional visitation Friday, June 30, 2017 at Roles Chapel Baptist Church, Forest Hill, WV. from 12 noon until 1 p.m. with graveside service with military honors to follow.
