Robert May

Robert F. May went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28th, 2012. He was retired from Bordens Milk, Wonder Bread, and a current employee at Kroger (in the Brewery District). He attended Heritage Freewill Baptist Church, and has been a true servant of God for many years. Bob was born to Harvey S. and Macie Marie May, June 15th 1932 in Yeager, KY. He is preceded in death by his Dad, Harvey, his Mother Macie and brothers, Wayne Howard, Jack, Junior, and James Foster, one sister Bernice and brother in law Jesse Lee Williamson. He is survived by his wife of 58 blessed years, Naomi Jean (Newsom) May; one son Robert "Stephen" (Joyce), three grandchildren, Angela (Josh), Nathanael, and Elijah, and three great grandchildren, Samuel, Zachary, and Peter, and two sisters Charlotte May and Margaret Copley both of Frankfort, KY. Many loved nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., Pastor Dr. Tim W. Stout officiating.
