Robert Laird

Robert (Bob) Laird, 89, was called home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2023, with his wife of 61 years, Jane, by his side at The Inn at Winchester Trail. Bob was an Army Korean War Veteran, family man, retired accountant and an avid golfer. Bob's advice was "Keep your head down and hit 'em straight." Bob is preceded in death by his parents Irene and Robert Jones Laird and 10 siblings. Bob is survived by his wife, Jane Laird; his sons Robert (Lynne) and Rick (Jen) Laird; brothers Don (Judy) and Skip Laird; sister-in-law Helen Ruby; grandchildren Megan, Cole (Kelsey), Jordan, Morgan and Alan Laird; step grandchildren Kaitlin (Jimmy) Spencer, Haleigh (Zachary) Fair and Jackson Sizemore; three step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday, April 22, 2023, beginning at 9:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E Markison Ave., Columbus OH 43207 with Pastor Edward Engelbrecht. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
