Robert Holderle

Robert E. "Bob" Holderle, age 75, of Baltimore, Ohio died December 16, 2007 at home. Preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Elizabeth (Becker) Holderle and wife, Lois (Dowler) Holderle and 2 grandchildren. Retired teacher and coach of Columbus Public Schools. Taught at Franklin Junior, Marion Franklin and Walnut Ridge High Schools. Served 31 years in education. Graduate of South High School, Class of 1950 and Capitol University Class of 1955. Served 2 years in U.S. Army. Played amateur softball and basketball for various teams in Columbus during the 1950's. Member of Peace Lutheran Church in Canal Winchester; Baltimore Lodge No. 475 F&AM and Schoolmasters Bowling League. Survived by sons, Ron Holderle of Baltimore, Oh., and Stephen Holderle of Laurelville, Oh; daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Richard Leindecker of Buckeye Lake, Oh., and Laurine and David Kusko of Pataskala, Oh; grandchildren, Ashley and Cory Leindecker; cousin and many friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Service Thursday 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 28 Elm St., Canal Winchester, Pastor Curtis D. Emerson officiating. Interment Union Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Peace Christian Center, c/o Peace Lutheran Church, 28 Elm St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 for new kitchen and fellowship hall.
