Robert Ellenberger

Robert C. Ellenberger, age 77, of Reynoldsburg, beloved husband of Fayetta Little Ellenberger, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 19, 2011. He was born in Punxsutawney, PA. Member of Benfield Christian Church. He was an ordained minister, who received his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education from Kentucky Christian College. Bob showed his great love for the Lord by serving in eight churches, including 13 years at the Grove City Church of Christ and 14 years at the Benfield Christian Church. He never knew a stranger and was always generous with his time for those in need. This was a true calling by the Lord. Preceded in death by daughter, Miriam Kay Ellenberger. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by his three children: Christi Sweet (David) of Florence, KY., Lisa Allen (Charlie) of Louisville, KY., and Felicia Davis of Indianapolis IN. He was the proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren: Katie Allen, Charles Allen Jr., Comodore Davis IV, and LeAhna Talbert. Bob is also survived by a sister, Louise Gschwendtner of Dubuque, IA., and a brother, Ronald Ellenberger of Sun City, AZ. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Funeral service Friday March 25, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Benfield Christian Church, 146 E. Benfield Ave., Columbus OH 43207, Pastor Claudius Davis and Pastor Steve Sherrod officiating.
