Robert Basham

Robert J. Basham, age 71, of Columbus, passed away December 7, 2014 at Scioto Community. U.S. Marine Veteran. Graduate of South High School. Preceded in death by daughter, Jeanne Basham; parents, Gilbert and Iris Basham; brothers, Challie, Gilbert, Paul, and Vernon Basham. Survived by sons Steve (Yolanda) Basham and Scott Basham and their mother, Darlene (Jim) Messisco; "the love of his life", Jean Dunn; grandchildren, Zachary Basham, Megan Hatfield, Kaitlyn Basham, Christopher Hatfield, Brienna Johnson, Mallory Martin, and Kirsten Basham; great-grandchildren, James Basham, Ryan Brent, and Raegan Platt; sisters, Carol (Pastor Roger) Childers, Mary (Fred) Basham, and Charlotte Walton. many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family will receive friends Thursday Dec. 11, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday 10 a.m., Pastor Roger Childers officiating.
