Rita Letendre

Rita M. Letendre. Angels escorted Rita to her Heavenly home on October 9, 2012. She was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on April 30, 1918. Rita and her family moved to Florida in 1955 and she resided there until 2000. She moved to Columbus in 2001. Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Omer Gosselin; husband, Raymond Letendre, and brother, Roland Gosselin of CA. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Neider (Bob) of Grove City; son, Dennis Letendre (Catalina) of Florida. 5 grandchildren, Jason Letendre, Bill Neider (Peg Ripley), David Neider, Michael Neider (Jen), and Deanna Steele (John); 4 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Neider, Alexis Neider, Zoe Neider, and Ryan Ripley; sister-in-law, Kitty Gosselin of CA; brother-in-law, Ray Mainville of MA; 4 nieces and 5 nephews. She was a caregiver to a number of family members, a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Rita volunteered with Hospice, Knights of Columbus, Westside Food Pantry, St. Vincent de Paul Society and Chillicothe VA Medical Center. She loved being with family and friends, the beach, singing and dancing, and just having fun. The family wishes to offer special thanks to Scioto Community for their loving care. Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. (Rosary 10:30 a.m.) on Friday October 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, Fr. Dan Millisor officiating.
