Richard Heinlein

Richard P. Heinlein, age 66, born October 1, 1942, of Orient, died unexpectedly October 30, 2008. Member of Old Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Graduate of South High School, Class of 1961. Retired from Yellow Freight; Member of Teamsters Local 413. Coca Cola Collector and car enthusiast. Preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Abbie Heinlein, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Helen McKitrick and brother-in-law, Daniel McKitrick. Survived by loving wife of 42 years, Sharon Heinlein; daughter, Christina Evans of NC; son, Matthew (Amy) Heinlein of Orient; grandsons, Myles and Ryan Heinlein and Dylan Evans; granddaughter, Sophia Hurd; brother, Rev. Robert (Patti) Heinlein of Warren, PA; sister, Barbara Heinlein of Columbus; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Judy Engle, David and Linda McKitrick, Donald and Shirley McKitrick and Linda McKitrick; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his " many church wives". Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St. Service Tuesday 11 a.m., Old Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 404 S. Third St. (visitation one hour prior to service), Pastor Denise Edwards officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
