Raymond Franciscus

Ray Franciscus, age 95, passed away November 28, 2015. Born to Clarence and Mabel Franciscus on December 19. 1919.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Mable. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ray was a founding member of Madison Christian Church. He was also an honorary member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio. Prior to joining the U.S. Navy in 1942, Ray worked for the CCC for 5 years. He retired from Rockwell International.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 beginning at 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Rd., Groveport, OH 43125, Pastor Paul Barnes officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the palliative care team at Mt. Carmel East as well as Dr. Catherine Spiess and her staff at Canyon Medical Center. The family also extends a special thank you to Ray and Mable's lifelong friend, Norma Lewis, who demonstrated enormous care and support to Ray in the years following Mable's death.

Arrangements by GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Madison Christian Church.
