Ray Hayes

Ray Hayes, age 84, of South Bloomfield, Ohio, passed away on January 29, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Member of United Church of God. U.S. Navy Veteran. Graduate of Grove City High School. Retired carpenter from Major Building Services (Brice, Ohio).

Preceded in death by infant son, Scott; parents, Okey and Martha Hayes; infant sister, Rosalee Hayes.

Survived by wife of 59 years, Patricia Hayes; son, Lealand Hayes; grandchildren, Landon Scott Hayes and Marie Nicole Hicks; brother, Ralph (Pauline) Hayes; sister, Betty Hamby; nieces, nephews, and other relatives; friend and neighbor, James Hart, and special thank you to Mt. Carmel Hospice.

Family will receive friends Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11 a.m., Pastor Leonard Martin and Elder James Hopkins officiating.
