Ralph Denney, Jr.

Ralph E. Denney, Jr., 72, of Groveport, Ohio passed away on October 1, 2018. He is preceded in death by parents Ralph and Anne Denney. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Cecelia (Ginther) Denney, brother Martin Denney, daughter and son-in-law April and Thad Tibbles, and granddaughter Kami Tibbles.

Ralph was a 1963 graduate of South High School. A true Renaissance man, Ralph spent his life exploring a wide variety of interests. He was a member of the musical groups The Renegades and Willie Phoenix and the True Soul Rockers. An avid sports car racing fan, Ralph raced Fiats for more than four decades with SCCA. He tirelessly sought entrepreneurial adventures including owning and operating a campground, writing a rock opera, traveling as a regional sales manager for several companies, and co-owning a computer consulting firm and a real estate business. He will be missed by family and hundreds of friends who enjoyed his creative spirit, curiosity, and thirst for knowledge.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, 2018, from 4 - 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, OH. A celebration of life event will be announced at a later date.
