Phyllis R. (Coon) Duckworth, age 76, of Upper Arlington, who passed away on March 20, 2011, has completed her life on earth and has gone to be with Jesus Christ in Heaven. Phyllis was born on February 12, 1935, to Theodore and Susan (Wilson) Coon. She retired from the law firm of Crabbe, Brown and James after 30 years as a legal secretary. Phyllis was a devoted member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for over 65 years, where she served as Sunday School teacher, choir member, and Vestry Secretary. She was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore F. Coon Jr., and sister-in-law Demeries Coon. Survived by husband, Harold Duckworth of Upper Arlington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelley and Henry Brickey of Plain City, OH, and Kimberly and Jeff Perret of Mansfield, Oh; 2 brothers, William and Jon Coon both of Columbus and numerous cousins. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Private family service Wednesday with private burial to follow at Fernwood Cemetery, Pastor Floyd L.
