Phyllis Choate

Phyllis J. Choate, age 80, of Columbus, died October 13, 2007 at her son's home in Utica. Retired from State of Ohio BWC. She is preceded in death by husband, Grover. Survived by children, Jill (Richard) Strawser of Reynoldsburg, Joe (Marie) Choate of Utica, Jenni Choate of N. Olmstead, Oh., and Jeff (Wanda) Choate of Ft. Bragg, NC; grandchildren, Jason, Jaimie, Jenna and Ty; great-grandson, Brentin; brothers, Edward Hern of Corning, Oh., and Howard J. Hern of Whitehall; many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Knox County, Licking County Aging and special friend, Carolyn from Touch of Grace. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Memorial Video will be available to view online beginning Tuesday.
