Pearl Gruber

Pearl B. Gruber, age 95, of Columbus, died April 14, 2011 at Mt.Carmel East Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband Gerald Gruber; father Charles Timmons; mother, Mary "Etta" Strausbaugh Timmons; sisters, Greta Waits and Beatrice "Marie" Kevelder. Survived by 2 sons, Gerald "Jerry" Gruber and his fiancée Karen McKee of Columbus and David and his wife Kathy Gruber of Columbus; 4 grandsons, Anthony C. Gruber (Michelle), David J. Gruber (Paula), G. Edward Gruber (Marte), and Jeffrey S. Gruber (Dorie); 8 great-grandchildren, Ian M. Gruber, Courtney N. Stephens (Timothy), Evan J. Gruber, Katelyn E. Gruber, Miah G. Gruber, Alyson L. Gruber, Eleanor A. Gruber, and Matthew E. Gruber; 1 great-great-grandchild, Sherrie Elaine Stephens; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, special family friends, Bob Mauer, Bob and Janet Durfey. Pearl was affiliated with the Charity Newsies for many years. Visitation Sunday 2-4 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Chaplain Deb Click officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
