Pauline Shuert

Pauline Hattie (Resch) Shuert's 86 year long life ended on July 22, 2009. Survived by twin brother Paul Resch of Tampa; daughter Christine Hattie Resch of Grove City and daughter's friend Geoff Brown; sister-in-law Nora Resch of Tampa; nephews Wayne (Ann) Resch of San Jose, CA. Steve Resch of Costa Rica and David (Carol) Resch of Tampa. Preceded in death by brother Woodrow. From WWII to 1988, Pauline had been a bindery worker with the American Education Press, Herr Printing, and National Graphics. As third-generation German-Americans, Pauline and Paul and older brother Woody, grew up in German Village with parents Harry and "Hattie" (Hedwig Koenig) Resch. Her family is grateful for the tender care given by the many kind people at Mt. Carmel West, Mt. Carmel Hospice, and Monterey Care Center, and by her aide, Janice Young. Instead of sending flowers, friends are asked to remember Pauline's love for animals and donate to the Cat Welfare Association or other no-kill shelters.
