Paul Humphry

Paul E. Humphry, age 70, of Columbus, died April 16, 2011 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He retired from Columbus Division of Fire Station No. 7 after 23 years of service. Paul headed and was actively involved with the Columbus Fire Athletic Assoc. that put on country music shows to raise money for the Children's Hospital Burn Unit and the Firefighters Museum. Preceded in death by father James F. Humphry; mother Ruth C. Humphry, and brother, Jack Humphry. Survived by wife of 51 years of marriage Diana; son Timothy Humphry of Canal Winchester; daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Lacey Moore of Columbus; grandchildren Lacey and Jonathan Moore, Stacia, Kacey, and Delaney Humphry; step-mother, Mary Humphry; half-brothers, Leslie and Ronnie; half-sister, Jennifer; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m., John and Michelle Rogers officiating.
