Michael Rodgers

Michael R. Rodgers, age 69, of Grove City, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 17, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He retired as bailiff from the Franklin County Municipal Court serving under Hon. James A. Fais and Hon. Julia Dorrian. Michael was an U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He attended Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Rodgers, brother, Roger, sister, Donna Jean, and sister-in-law, Judy. He is survived by his wife Sally; son, Todd (Stephanie) of Dublin and daughter Mindy (Kevin) McSweeney of Hilliard; grandchildren, Taylor Rodgers, Hunter, Haley, Heather, Chase, Rob (Janice) McSweeney and Abby (Marty) Blakeway; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. (family will receive friends one hour prior to service) at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, Pastor Mark Fuller officiating. Interment to follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank or the American Heart Association.
