Melvin Vance

Melvin L. Vance, 72 years, 9 months, 28 days, departed this life on February 2, 2012 to be with our Lord in heaven. He graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 1957. Retired from Celanese Piping Systems, Sylvan Trucking Company, Techneglas/ Owens Illinois. He attended Lighthouse Ministries on S. High St. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Alta Vance, grandchildren, William and Amanda Vance, brother-in-law, David Hill. Survived by wife of 52 years, Evelyn M. (Faught) Vance; children, Gregory (Barbara) Vance, Ronald (Robin) Vance, Cheryl (Brian) Riser; grandchildren, Marie and Sara Vance, Suzanne and Kurtis Riser; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Vance; sister, Kaye Hill. Friends may call Sunday, February 5 from 3-6 PM at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street, where service will be held Monday, February 6 at 10:30 AM, Pastor Steve Palmer officiating.
