Mary E. Armstrong, age 92, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2007 at The Forum in Columbus following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by husband Timothy G. Armstrong, parents William and Ella Edge and brother, William Edge all of Columbus. She attended Miss Hutchinson's School, Memphis, TN and Sullins College, Bristol, VA. She was a long-time resident of Worthington, OH where she was a member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church and the Worthington Women's Club. She was founder and first president of the Worthington Historical Society, Study Group I, Childhood League Assisting Board II and a founding member of the Country Club of Muirfield. She is survived by daughters, Patty Biederman of Carmel, CA., and Joanie Terango (John) of Upper Arlington, OH; Grandchildren, Andy Biederman of Reno, NV; Beth Ingalls of Truckee, CA; Mary Katherine Shiple (Craig) of Pompano Beach, FL; Elizabeth Boyuk (Peter) of Hilliard, OH; Tim Florence (Tonya) of San Antonio, TX; Great-Grandchildren, Kaya and Cedar Lampe, Charles Ingalls, Dana and Marc Biederman all of Truckee, CA; Kurt and Drew Shiple of Pompano Beach, FL and Cassidy and Macy Boyuk of Hilliard, OH; sister, Martha McClure (George) of Redmond, WA; cousin, Jim Edge of Columbus, OH; nieces, Ann Knodt of Columbus, Suzy Armstrong of Chicago, IL; Cathy Carothers of Redmond, WA; nephew, Jeff McClure of Houston, TX; great-nephews and great-nieces, Michael Knodt of Seattle, WA; Kirsten Knodt of Columbus, OH; Kate and Karen Carothers of Redmond, WA; and Laura McClure of Houston, TX; other relatives, Anna Toso of Truckee, CA; and Larry Biederman of Windermere, FL. A Memorial service will be held in the garden of the Orange Johnson House, 956 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio on Thursday July 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Mary E.
