Margaret J. Schutte Moore

Margaret Jane Michael Schutte Moore, age 86, of Obetz, Ohio, passed away on February 26, 2024. Graduate of Central High School, class of 1955. Attended Reynoldsburg Free Will Baptist Church. Was a cook with Hamilton Local Schools for 35 years. Avid bowler at Rainbow Lanes. Margaret loved card playing, traveling, gardening her roses, frog collector, watching her grandkids and great-grandkids play sports. Preceded in death by son, Doug Schutte, first husband, Fredrick Schutte; parents, Paul and Virginia Michael, and sister, Paula Haller. Survived by her husband whom she married in 2004, Walter "Lacey" Moore; sons, Dennis (Karen) Schutte and David (Kim) Schutte; Stepchildren, Tina Detty and Lacey (Kelly) Moore; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul Michael Jr., Donald Michael, Valerie McCarty, Rita Howell, Rodney Michael, Virgil Michael, and Theresa York; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family will receive friends Thursday, February 29, 2024, beginning at 12 noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207, with Pastor Jerry Sargent officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to ALS United Ohio (www.ALSohio.org) or Capital City Hospice.
