Manuel H. Elliott, age 90, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at Riverside Hospital. Mess Sgt.. in the 9th Armored Division of U.S. Army serving in European Theatre during WWII. Sole owner and operator of Elliott's Body Shop in South Columbus. Avid golfer, trap shooter, and avid outdoorsman and loved to travel throughout America. Manuel was the last surviving member of the Elliott family of West Virginia. Preceded in death by his first wife, Wanna Jean Elliott of Pickaway; parents, Joe and Ina Elliott of West Virginia; siblings, Earl Elliott, Harry Elliott, Bankie Elliott, Opal Hemphill, Wanda Miller, and Beatrice Pam; Survived by his second love of 18 years, Ginny Hays of Columbus; two step-daughters, Susan (Marty) White of Gahanna and Jennifer (Tom) Bindi of Westerville; one granddaughter, Candace (Jon) Rogers of Pataskala; three grandsons, Frank White of Gahanna; Michael and Matthew Bindi of Westerville; nieces, Yvonne (Ron) Madru of Chillicothe, Judy (Aldon) Cisco of Waverly, Tina (Tim) DeBord, Peggy (Phil) Egan, Debbie (Kevin) Coe, all of Chillicothe, and Melissa (Rob) Reynolds of Frankford; many great-nieces and great-nephews, including Suzanne Scholls of Columbus and Sarah Kohls of Chillicothe. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m., with interment to follow at Muhlenburg Darbyville Cemetery.
