Lydia Ruth Oursler, age 70, born August 7, 1942, left us March 30, 2013. The first-born child of William Ray Oursler and Ruth Fultz Oursler. Pinky, as she was known as a child, was a gentle, bright, generous, and witty presence wherever she went. A 1960 graduate of Columbus South High School, and a 1966 graduate of The Ohio State University, she was retired from Nationwide Insurance. Predeceasing Lydia are her parents, brother Gerald William Oursler, and nephew Philip Kenneth Wycuff. Left to miss her dearly are sisters, Beverley Oursler Truax and husband Herbert of Galloway, and Doris Lee Oursler of Columbus; also nephews, William Edward (Shuan'te) Smith, Walter Douglas (Patricia) Smith, and Samuel Lawrence Truax; great-nephews, Darion Kenneth Wycuff, Gerrald William Smith, and Joseph Anthony Smith; best friends, Judy Johnson and Janet Howie, other dear family and friends; sweet kitty Agatha, and canine nieces and nephew. Thank you to the staff of Laurels at Norworth for the care they provided Lydia. Family will receive friends this Friday, April 5, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. A service celebrating her life will be held the following week on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd., Columbus, with the Rev.
