Lowell Swentzel

Lowell Swentzel, age 91, of Columbus, died October 3, 2008 at Woodlands Care Center. U.S. Army Veteran, WWII. Retired from U.S. Postal Service after 34 years of service. Member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Previous memberships and affiliations, South Gate-Potter Lodge No.782 F&AM, Aladdin Shrine, Scottish Rite, Moose Lodge #11, American Legion #164, Southeast Shrine Club, Bexley Conservation Club, N.A.L.C. Branch #78, Home Plate Club, Swan Club and Motts Museum. Preceded in death by wife of 57 years, Arlene. Survived by daughter, Sharon Jameson; grandchildren, Todd (Clarissa) Jameson and Jill Jameson; grandchildren, Eli and Sarah; brother, Kenny (Elsie) Swentzel of FL. Visitation Monday 4-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Tuesday 10 a.m., Rev. Alan Hicks officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
