Louise Brown

Louise Eleanore Long "Chick" Brown, 91 died peacefully at Broadview Rehab Center January 21, 2012, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Lura Long, husband of 37 years, Lewis Brown, sister Marguerite Covey, and son in law Robert Geiszler. Survived by daughters Bonnie Fruchey of Jacksonville, Florida, Penny Geiszler of Houston Texas, and Shelley (Bob) Wanamaker of Gahanna, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson with a great-great grandbaby on the way. Chick was extremely proud of her family, loved playing all sports as a young girl, and enjoyed playing cards and square dancing with Lew. She is a past member of Blendon, Gahanna and Marion Road Senior Citizens Centers, as a member of the Marion Road center she was an active member of the performing clown troop. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the employees at Broadview Rehab Center, Rapid Recovery ward. Calling hours are Tuesday January 24th from 5-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Wednesday January 25th at 10 a.m., Dr. Greg Pulliam officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Louise's memory be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or to Bike Lady Inc., at www.bikelady.org.
