Louis Donald Oelgoetz (Don to his family and friends) went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2010 surrounded by his family at his home in Groveport. U.S. Army Veteran. Member of Whitehall Church of the Nazarene. Retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield (Central Benefits) after 26 years of service. Preceded in death by parents Louis Simon Oelgoetz and Florence Winterell Oelgoetz and sister Florence "Sweetie" McComis. Survived by beloved wife Elizabeth Jane Oelgoetz; daughters Janie Mitchell of Canal Winchester, Pauleta (Jack) Mellman of Phoenix, AZ., Diana (Jerry) Mathys of Reynoldsburg, and Teresa (Jack) Hall of Groveport; grandchildren Luke Rathgaber, Jennifer Newman, Rick Mitchell, Joshua Mathys, Christopher Mathys, Jenna Simons, Angela "Angelina" Buckner, and USMC Cpl. Jeffrey Mellman who is currently serving in Afghanistan; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Arnold McComis; many nieces, nephews, and life long friends David Garlinger and Paul Riegel. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St. Service Thursday 11 a.m. at Whitehall Church of the Nazarene, 745 S. Yearling Rd, Rev.
