Lorna Koon

Lorna Elaine Koon (McVicker), beloved mother, age 88, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2014. She was born on December 19, 1925 in Center Township, Ohio. Elaine was a 1944 graduate of New Lexington High School and retired from Kroger Bakery. She is preceded in death by loving husband of 42 years, Harold and son, Keith Koon. Survived by children, Steven (Darla) Koon of Galloway, Barbara (James) Griggs of S. Vienna, Brian Koon, Leslie Koon, Kurt Koon, and Marilyn (Daryl) Popig all of Columbus; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Private burial was held at Union Cemetery.
