Lloyd Mullens

Lloyd Morgan Mullens, Jr., of Grove City, Ohio was born September 25, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio and went Home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2014. Lloyd was a beloved husband to Barbara, adored father to Kathlene Mullens and Melissa Miller, and her husband Eric, as well as doting grandfather to Joshua Miller. Devoted brother to Faye, Kay (Fred), Larry (Barbara), Sharon, Theresa, Morgan, DeRick, and Ciara. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Mary. He also leaves behind a grieving community of countless friends. A long-time deacon, he was a member and attendee of Southwest and Friendly FWB Churches and a devoted Christian. Always a fruitful entrepreneur, South High Auto Wrecking was his most successful venture for over 30 years. From becoming a private pilot to far-ranging traveling with family and friends to collecting and showing classic cars, it took a host of interests to keep his bright mind and curiosity engaged. Giving until the end, Lloyd was an organ donor who gave the gift of life. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Service will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Southwest Free Will Baptist Church, 1542 Greenleaf Rd., Columbus, OH 43223 (with one hour viewing beginning at 10 a.m. prior to service) Pastor John Meade and Pastor Alan Wright officiating.
