Leta "Dian" Sparks, went home with the Lord on September 1, 2018. Dian was born June 21, 1933, in Lawrence County Kentucky to the late Clarence and Jo Skeens. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker and a wonderful Mommaw to the grandchildren. A long time member of the South Columbus FWB church, and very dedicated member of their Ladies Fellowship.
Preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Thomas; brothers, Charles Skeens and O'Dell Skeens; sisters, Joy Hampton and Kathleen Vaughn. Survived by daughters, Anna Caldwell, Helen (Joe) Nickels, Janet (Jerry) Kocher; grandchildren, Stacy Nickels, Lori (Jeff) Hatzer, Rodney and James Caldwell, Jennifer (Kevin) Cook, and Aaron Kocher; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; brothers, Rev. Jack Skeens, Thomas Skeens, Bob Skeens, and Bill Skeens; numerous nieces and nephews and two very special friends, Carolyn Leinhan and Carmon Parsley.
Family will receive friends Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5 - 8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11 a.m., at Rev.
