Leonard Sullivan

Leonard Sullivan, age 68, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on July 26, 2024. He was born on August 7, 1955, in Pike, Kentucky. He retired from Westerville City Schools. Leonard had a deep faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and he loved to share his faith with others. Leonard never met a stranger, and he made it his purpose to be a mentor and father figure to kids in his neighborhood even after his own children had grown. Leonard lived for his children, raising three of his children on his own as a single father. The biggest joy of his life was watching his children grow up and having families of their own. 

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Hardin and Gracie Sullivan and his son Steven Sullivan. He is survived by his children Megan (Adam) Cocroft, Adam Sullivan, Katie Sullivan, and Michael (Maura) Sullivan; 19 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Lawrence (Ruth) Sullivan and Hardin “Junior” Sullivan; sisters, Goldie Wilson, Dora Vernon, and Sue Snodgrass; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High St., Columbus, OH. 43207 beginning at 11:30 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with Rev. Lawrence Sullivan officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus Ohio.
