Kyra Ann Dunford Scurlock was born January 7, 1950 in Lillybrook, WV to Ruby and Jessie Dunford. She went to meet her Lord on February 13, 2009 at Grant Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Billy Dunford. She is survived by her husband Charles Scurlock of Obetz; son Ernie Zarbaugh of Obetz; brother and sister-in-law, Teddie and Veralene Dunford of Marion, VA; step-sons, Chuck Scurlock of Grove City and Miles Scurlock of Obetz; step-daughters, Robin (Roger) Strayer of Centerburg, OH and Becky (Curt) Hughes of Jackson, OH; grandchildren, CJ, Jessica, Jeremy, Lily, Crystal, Les, Wes, Millina, Amanda, April and Alison; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Donna Scurlock, Joan Price, Mary Scurlock and Louella (Stewart) Jones; uncles, Rev. Otis (Linda) Barker of Marion, VA; Monroe (Sarah) Barker of Marion, VA and Cecil (Cloia) Barker of Rural Retreat, VA; nieces, Melanie (Tim) Barker of Wytheville, VA; Melissa (Ivan) Lujan of Jamestown, NC; Miranda (Cameron) Davenport of Chilhowie, VA; 2 great-nieces who were very close to her, Ema and Elyse Lujan of Jamestown NC; also surviving is a host of other relatives and friends. Kyra loved her family, her gardens, and the many friends she met and served on her Avon route. She was always ready to lend a hand. She reached out to everyone she met with a smile, ready laugh, and loving manner will be greatly missed. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S.
