Josephine Earley

Josephine "Josie" (Strigaro) Earley, age 76, of Columbus, died June 15, 2011 at Kobacker House. Member of VFW Post No. 3424 Ladies Auxiliary where she was past president and currently District 11 Banner Bearer. Josie was also a member of the American Legion Southway Post No. 144 and Amvets No. 1312 Ladies Auxiliary. Josie was Chairperson for VFW Cancer Research, raising over $150,000. Preceded in death by brothers Jimmy and Tommy Strigaro; sisters, Donna Griffith and Angelina Silvia. Survived by lifetime companion Kenel Kelly and his daughter, Judy and her husband Dave and their family.; 4 nieces, 1 nephew, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Saturday 11 a.m., Fr. Pat Toner officiating. Interment Walnut Hill Cemetery.
