John McGrail

John Keith McGrail, age 64, of Columbus, who was residing in Nokomis, Florida, passed away August 13, 2014 at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Keith was a member of the Knights of Columbus and South Optimist Club. Retired from the State of Ohio Fire Marshal's office. Graduate of Bishop Ready High School Class of 1968. He was an avid fisherman and loved his friends at Encore Park Nokomis, Florida. He coached over 30 years for little league baseball and basketball. Keith was a Lector at Saint Stephen the Martyr Church, where he was a member since1962 until moving to Florida. Keith enjoyed working at Walmart in Columbus on Georgesville Road and in Florida. He is preceded in death by parents, John "Jack" and Caroline "Joedy" McGrail. Survived by 2 sisters, Carolyn (Major William) Warner of NC., and Marilyn McGrail of Grove City; nephews, Ryan (Amy) Warner, Kyle (Kim) Warner, Cpt. Sean (Nicole) Warner; niece, Erin (Michael) Sagaser; special friends who became like family, Pat and Bill Hicks, and other relatives and many friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 4-8 p.m.at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH, 43123, Fr. Dan Millisor, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Columbus.
