John Kaufmann

John E. Kaufmann Jr., age 51, of Columbus, passed away on December 17, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. John was U.S. Army Veteran. He was born and raised in Columbus and attended Northland High School and graduated from Parkside High School in Jackson, Michigan. He was an avid sportsman and big OSU Buckeye fan. John was a wonderful chef and loved cooking for seniors in assisted living. Preceded in death by grandparents, Edward Adam Kaufmann, Ann Kaufmann Price, Steve and Frances Paul, and father-in-law, Arthur W. Holmes. Survived by wife, Susan; mother, Carol Kaufmann of Columbus; father and step-mother, John and Sarah Kaufmann of Bradenton, FL; sister, Sheri Kaufmann Cronin of Bradenton FL; niece, Danielle Cronin (Damian) Van Metre; nephew, Jonathan Cronin; 2 great-nieces; mother-in-law, Cathy Holmes of Mendon, MA; brother-in-law, Tom (Paula) Holmes; sister-in-law, Nancy (Sheldon) Severs; other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday Dec. 22, 2012 beginning at 12 noon with service to follow at 2 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Pastor Alan Hicks officiating.
