John "Jack" J. McGrail, Jr., age 90, of Columbus, a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away January 10, 2013 at Mt. Carmel West. U.S. Army Air Corp WWII Veteran. Jack began his banking career in 1941 with Ohio National Bank and retired in 1980 as Assistant Vice President with Banc Ohio. He also retired as an auditor with the State of Ohio Youth Commission. Member of St. Stephen The Martyr, South Columbus Optimist Club, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post No. 532 and VFW. Graduate of West High School June Class of 1940, American Institute of Banking and Franklin University. Jack loved to travel and enjoyed fishing. He is preceded in death by wife, Caroline "Joedy" McGrail; parents, John and Mabel McGrail; siblings, James, Robert, and Mary Louise McGrail. He is survived by children, Marilyn McGrail, Keith McGrail of Columbus and Carolyn (Major William) Warner of NC; grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) Warner, Kyle (Kim) Warner, Lt. Sean (Nicole) Warner, and Erin (Michael) Sagasar; 4 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday Jan. 18, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. (Rosary 7 p.m.) at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday Jan. 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen The Martyr, 4131 Clime Rd., Columbus, OH 43228, Fr. Thomas Buffer, Celebrant. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors.
