Jo Conrad

Jo Ann Conrad, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2016, surrounded by her loving family following a brief battle with mesothelioma. Jo was a longtime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years, and was a member of the senior choir and bell choir. She retired from Sears Distribution and then Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Central Ohio. Jo was an avid bowler and loyal Buckeye fan. She was a proud Columbus South High School Graduate, Class of 1956.

Preceded in death by parents, John and Caryl Parker; and brother, William Schey. Survived by husband of 57 years, Richard Conrad; daughters, Carolyn (Manny) Nassar of Florida, and Janice Wood of Columbus; grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Speakman, Riley Wood, Haley and Sydney Nassar; sister, Janet (Darryl) Betz of Galloway; nephews and nieces, David Betz, Deanna Maynard, Mary York, and Richard Schey.

Family will receive friends, Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Service Saturday 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E. Markison Ave., Columbus, OH 43207, Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
