Jim Detty, age 85, of Groveport, Ohio, passed away on July 23, 2024. Member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Hibert Sr. and Hazel Detty; siblings, Louise Crawford, Hibert J. Detty Jr., and Helen Hann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Nolene Roof. Survived by wife of 65 years of marriage, Carol; 3 children, Diana (Randy) Fee and Lori (Kyle) Law; son, Jim (Lisa) Detty; 12 grandchildren, Michael (Charissa) Fee, James (Amanda) Fee, Thomas Fee, Matt (Marisa) Fee, Korey (Rachel) Law, Kody (Emily) Law, Katie (Kheng Ly) Law, Kasey (Chanley) Law, Joey (Alli) Detty, Ellen (Jeremy) Kline, Joe Ramsey, and Sarah Ramsey; 21 great-grandchildren, Caleb Fee, Lainey Fee, Anabelle Fee, Judah Fee, Ellie Fee, Selah Fee, Mason Law, Cameron Law, Rory Law, Reece Law, Livi Ly, Ray Law, Aira Law, Junior Kline, Emeila Detty, Justin Detty, Jayden Ramsey, Harper Kline, Ryleigh Kline, Brynlee Kline, and Emma Brown.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207.
