James G.F. Cordle

James G.F. Cordle, age 88, passed away on November 10, 2018. Jim was a 1948 graduate of Columbus South High School and retired from Nationwide Life Insurance. He was preceded in death by parents, Gomeza Cordle and Opal (Lawrence) Overdier; sisters, Norma Jean Langbein, Camilla Harper, Mary Jo Dandrea, Laura Mae Galilei, and brother-in-law, Tony Galilei. Jim is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marilyn (Baker) Cordle; children, Cathy (Michael) Cavanaugh, Mark (Susan) Cordle, Leslie (John) Brodnik, and Dean Cordle; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who held a special place in his heart; sisters, Claire (Will) Eva and Patricia (William) Smith; brother-in-law, Louie Dandrea; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio with Will Eva officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
